Through the collaboration of the lead costume designer, Lauren Heard, our design concept was to ultimately bring a modern freak-show feel to Pippin, all while paying homage to the original source material. As an assistant costume designer, I was able to create research boards on side shows, assisted in the construction of costumes, and created designs for two of the ensemble members (renderings seen below).
