Under the direction of lead costume designer, Elizabeth Payne, we were able to curate a historically-concise, yet nostalgically cozy 1940s landscape through the sourcing of local Kentucky thrift stores, costume storages and the growing LEX costume storage all under a total of 3 weeks! As an assistant costume designer, I was tasked with aiding in the overall organization and efficiency of such a fast paced production process through detailed fitting notes, working as wardrobe for the show dates, and leading costume strike at the end of the run.
