My vision and character boards used in inital conversations with the director.
Hombres Verdaderos, a play written by Alexis Elisa Macedo, centered around a young boy and the fantasy world he has created through the grief of his late father. Through this design, I wanted the audience to recognize not only the youthfulness of Antonio, but his passion for his hobbies and how it connected him to his father.
out loud
Out Loud, a comedic play written by Sunshine de Castro, explored the awkward tension of a conservative family meeting their daughter's girlfriend for the first time. I wanted to play with the modernity of this piece and combine fun references to pop culture while remaining true to the themes of acceptance and support.
